Academic inspirational programme cum felicitation of meritorious students held at Borayangbi

Moirang, August 03 2025: An academic inspirational programme cum felicitation ceremony was held today at Boarayangbi village under Kumbi Assembly Constituency to honour meritorious students from the area.

Organised by the Borayangbi Youth Progressive Alliance (BYPA), under the theme "Wisdom Nurturing and Upliftment Mission", the event aimed to promote academic excellence and uplift the education sector in the region, particularly among the Meitei-Pangal community.

During the event, a total of 22 students who achieved outstanding results in Class X and XII examinations conducted by BOSEM, COHSEM, and CBSE were felicitated.

Additionally, three Alima graduates and students who cleared the NEET examination were also honoured.

The event held at MGNRGEA Office of Borayangbi GP was attended by Company Commander Mahar Regiment Naodakhong Company, Major Aditya Jain as chief guest; BYPA president Md Rafijuddin as functional president; and chairman Administrative Committee Borayangbi GP Thiyam Romesh Singh; member of Ward no 1, Md Salaoddin; member Ward no 3, Md Abdul Nur; member Ward no 4, Md Abdul Salam; Headmaster Pinjabati High School Sandangkhong, Mv Abdullah; Mohtamim Madrasa Ziaul Uloom Borayangbi, Alhaj Moulana Habibullah and Mohatamin Madrasah Kulliyatul Banta Borayangbi, Maulana Yusuf Ali as guests of honour.

During the event, 14 students who achieved outstanding marks in Class X examination conducted by the CBSE, 4 students who achieved outstanding marks in Class XII examination conducted by the COHSEM, one student who qualified the NEET 2025 examination and 3 Alima graduates were honoured and feted with complimentary certificates by the BYPA.

Deputy Inspector of School, Henglep Block, Churachandpur Md Abdul Rahaman and Sr Counsellor EKWIK Solution, New Delhi, Mohammad Sadam Hussain were the resource persons of the event and delivered inspirational talks on various topics related to education to the students.
