SBI donates waste disposal truck to Senapati District Administration

State Bank of India (SBI) today handed over a waste disposal truck to Senapati District Administration in a function held at DRDA Conference Hall Senapati.
It was attended by Lunkim Thangboi, general manager (NW-11) SBI North Eastern Circle; Mao AC MLA, Losii Dikho; Karong AC MLA, Kumo Sha; Solomon Arow, president NPO; Deputy Commissioner Senapati, Mahesh H Chaudhari and SBI RBO Imphal, regional manager Hepuni Bismark.
Speaking on the occasion, Losii Dikho stated that Senapati is one of the fast growing districts in the State and the disposal truck is required to keep the District Headquarter clean.
He appreciated SBI for donating the truck and added that the bank has been contributing a lot to the people.
Kumo Sha urged the authorities concerned to utilize the waste disposal truck in the proper way.
He continued that public participation is essential to maintain a healthy and clean town.
Lunkim Thangboi expressed his happiness in seeing the bank & people having a good relationship and working together.
Stressing on the need to catch up with the latest technology for banking, he stated that with digitized banking, the requirement of opening more bank branches has reduced.
He informed that Senapati has more SBI branches than other hill districts of the State.
He also highlighted the schemes and loans available with SBI and urged the public to make use of it and generate income.
Lunkim Thangboi further cautioned the public about fraud and fake sms/ messages pretending to be bank staff.
Mahesh H Chaudhari appreciated SBI for donating the truck and urged the public to follow the rules/norms of the bank.
Hepuni Bismark informed that SBI also donated an ambulance in 2014/15 to the District Hospital while he was the branch manager at Senapati.
He also shared the contributions of SBI towards Nation building and urged the district administration to maintain the truck well.
Later, the disposal truck was jointly flagged off by Losii Dikho, Kumo Sha, Lunkim Thanboi and Mahesh Chaudhari.
Losii Dikho and Kumo Sha also planted tree saplings at the SBI Senapati Office campus.
