CADA's academic awareness programme

As part of its ongoing campaign to eliminate drugs and alcohol in various part of the State, Coalition Against Drugs and Alcohol (CADA) organised an academic awareness programme on the theme "impact of intoxicants on the students of the society" at St John English High School, Nambol Chingmang, Bishnupur District, day before yesterday.
The programme was attended by Principal, St John English High School, Nongmeikapam Bishworjit, President, CADA Bishnupur District Committee, Huiningsungbam Basanti and President, CADA, Hijam Priyokumar.
On the programme, CADA, Vice-President, Ningthoujam Doren attended as a resource person.
Resource person, CADA, Vice-President, Ningthoujam Doren said that to give awareness to the teenagers students about the loss of using intoxicants and its ill effect to the body.
He added that using drugs does not give any benefits to the body.
He further said that we should not taste any kinds of intoxicants and added that the use of drugs begins in the family.
He added that parents should not use any kinds of intoxicants in front of their children.
