ILDS Dreamcatcher Scholarship 2024 awarded

Imphal, November 19 2024: Launched this year, the Institute of Liver and Digestive Sciences (ILDS) Foundation announced the winners of the first ILDS Dreamcatcher Scholarship 2024 at ILDS Hospital located at Kwakeithel Heinou Khongnembi today.

Sidharth Khundrakpam, 1st year MBBS student (RIMS), s/o Chandrakumar Khundrakpam from Wangoo Sabal Awang Leikai and Loukrakpam Suresh, 1st year BTech student (NIT), s/o Loukrakpam Inaobi from Leimapokpam Mayai Leikai were awarded the scholarship at today's event.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr N Surajkumar.

Settlor, ILDS Foundation said that the ILDS Foundation has awarded the ILDS Dreamcatcher Scholarship 2024 for the first time to two students, one each from undergraduate medical and engineering courses.

Under this scholarship, ILDS Foundation will bear all academic costs as well as hostel fees till the completion of their courses, informed the Settlor.

Maintaining that the scholarship may not be awarded to new students every year, Dr N Surajkumar said that the initiative was launched for the benefit of students from low-income families.

Today's event was graced by Dr Aribam Vijaya, Trustee, ILDS Foundation, representatives of ILDS Hospital and guardians of the students.

An agreement was also signed between the students and representatives of ILDS Foundation on the occasion.
