Many endorse AMSU's 15-day ultimatum

Tbl/Kak, September 11 2021: The students' unions of Kha Manipur College, Kakching and Waikhom Mani Girls' College, Thoubal have extended their support to the demands and ultimatum given by the All Manipur Students' Union (AMSU) to the Government of Manipur to release the full scholarship amount for the OBC and SC students within 15 days.

In separate releases, the students' unions demanded the disbursement of scholarship amount for students belonging to OBC and SC sponsored by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India on time every year.

It also raised questions against the objective of the concerned Department for not releasing the scholarships especially during this crucial time of pandemic.

The students' unions further appealed to the concerned authority to consider the difficulties faced by the students and release the scholarship amount at the earliest.
