Govt unable to resolve crisis: MLA Sheikh Noorul Hassan

MLA Sheikh Noorul Hassan has slammed the Government for its failure to resolve the present crisis.
"How can we call it good governance? The Government is unable to resolve the present crisis in the State.
The State will move backwards if incompetent leaders run it," said the MLA from Kshetrigao Assembly Constituency.
He said this during the 1st foundation day celebration of Borayangbi Youth Progressive Alliance (BYPA).
Noorul Hassan categorically stated that the Government's inability to end the 20 month long crisis has made "us move backwards by 30 years".
"Every war has a conclusion, the ethnic cleansing in Rwanda was even ended by the Government with sincerity.
When the Government is unable to solve the 20 month long crisis in the State, how can we call it good governance," asked the MLA.
There is peaceful coexistence between Meitei, Meitei-Pangal and other indigenous communities of the State.
Every community in Manipur must play crucial roles in bringing peace to the State, he said.
At the programme, various speakers highlighted the welfare activities undertaken by BYPA for the people of the State since its formation.
As part of the programme, BYPA distributed farmer cards to 76 beneficiaries.
Manipur Peoples Defence Force (MPDF) distributed sprayer pumps to farmers.
An annual calendar of BYPA was also launched during the programme.
The event was also attended by Manipur Police Department, MPTC Pangei, Asst Director, Abdul Kalam (MPS), FOCS president, Th Manihar, Meitei Pangal Ee Khongul Liba Foundation Committee, president, BM Yaima, Borayangbi GP, chairman, Th Romesh, Manipur Women Federation, secretary, T Demona.
Madrasa Ziaul Uloom Borayangbi, Mohtamim, Alhaj Moulana Habibullah and other prominent figures.
