Imphal, October 23 2009:
The Justice (Retd) Agarwal Commission, that had been inquiring into the July 23 BT Road firing, has asked those who suffered injuries in the said incident to depose before the probe panel set on October 27, the date set for hearing.
The latest summons were reportedly served to the injured victims as a previous notification issued by the Commission to the firing victims for filing affidavits had failed to evoke positive response.
The Commission is also informed to have served relevant notice to the authority concerned to appoint a counsel to assist the inquiry panel.
