Vaccination drive held at rehab centres

Imphal, July 30 2021: Continuing the mass vaccination and advocacy programme in private rehabilitation centres, CCSK and Union of Private Rehabilitation Centre Kangleipak organised mass vaccination programme at three private rehabilitation centres on Friday.

The vaccination programme conducted along with Imphal West district commissioner was held at Salvation Drug De-addiction Centre, Mayang Imphal Konchak; Khuman Life Healing Drug De-addiction Centre, Mayang Imphal Charoipung and Th Biren Drug De-addiction, Rehabilitation Centre, Samushang Santipur.

In all, 169 inmates of the three rehabilitation centres were inoculated against Covid-19.Meanwhile, Imphal West District Adhyaksha, RK Taruni along with 20 Century Club, Haobam Marak Chingtham Leikai conducted a mass vaccination programme at its local community hall.

Under the supervision of Tengnoupal district administration, Primary Health Centre Covid vaccination team conducted a mass vaccination drive at Ima Kondong Lairembi Haraobung, Moreh ward no.7 on Friday.

SDO Moreh I Dineshkumar Singh and MO-in-charge of PHC Moreh Kh Santikumar Singh inspected the vaccination programme and people from three localities of Moreh came for the vaccination.

Social Development Youth Club Moreh Heinou Makhong Leikai, Yapha Thourang Thousillup Moreh Khunou Leikai and Health & Educational Research Society Moreh Turel Wangma Leikai supported conduct of the vaccination programme.
