Imphal, May 27 2024: A child in conflict with law (CCL) has been sent to an observation home after he was produced before the Juvenile Justice Board, Imphal East for committing sexual assault on a minor girl.

The child in conflict with law was arrested yesterday by police from an area which is under the jurisdiction of Andro Police Station in connection with sexual assault on a minor girl of three years and a half.

The CCL was produced before JJB Imphal East by a team of Imphal East Women Police Station in connection with the case with a prayer to send him to an observation home for necessary legal procedure.

The victim's family lodged a complaint with the police station concerned stating that the CCL had committed sexual assault on the minor girl at around midnight on May 25 .
