Thoubal, September 24 2022: As a part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Nehru Yuva Kendra (NYK) Thoubal under the aegis of Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India today celebrated Yuva Utsav 2022 (District Level Youth Festival) at Counting Hall, DC Complex Thoubal.

It was attended by Deputy Commissioner Thoubal, Ahanthem Subhash; District Social Welfare Officer Thoubal, A Kameshwar; and NYK Thoubal, District Youth Coordinator, Micheal T Mate as presidium members.

Speaking on the occasion, A Subhash lauded NYK Thoubal for organising the festival and providing the platform for youths to display their talents/skills.

He also urged the public, local clubs and civil organisations to provide their support to the War on Drugs & Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan of the Government to make Manipur a Drug Free State.

Additional Deputy Magistrate Thoubal; Thoubal Municipal Council, Executive Officer; MSRLM Thoubal, District Co-ordinator and Indian football player Thoi Singh attended the event as resource persons.

During the festival, youth convention, painting competition, mobile photography contest & declamation contest were conducted and prizes were distributed to the winners.
