ABVP celebrates 76th foundation day across State

Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), Manipur, commemorated its 76th foundation day with a series of impactful initiatives under the banner of "National Students Day" today.
The celebrations encompassed a range of activities aimed at promoting social welfare and academic excellence across various districts in Manipur, according to a statement issued by L Rajesh, State office secretary.
In Imphal, ABVP organized a cleanliness drive at Ema Market, Thangal Keithel and conducted a tree plantation drive at Manipur University.
Additionally, blood donation camps were set up at JNIMS and Central Agricultural University, Iroisemba.
The 76th foundation day celebration was also marked at NIELIT, Akampat, where 300 outstanding students were recognized for their academic achievements.
The foundation day celebration at NIELIT Akampat featured distinguished guests including Professor Lokendra Singh, Vice-Chancellor of Manipur University and Asokan, Regional Pracharak of ABVP.
Deepak Ningombam, ABVP State Treasurer, Professor Premlata Meisnam, ABVP State President and Gautam Philem, State Secretary of ABVP Manipur also graced the occasion with their presence.
On the occasion, VC Professor N Lokendra Singh commended ABVP's relentless efforts in empowering students and emphasized the importance of such initiatives for societal upliftment.
He expressed his optimism for ABVP to continue its impactful contributions towards the development of the community.
In Bishnupur, career counseling sessions were conducted while in Senapati, 250 students were awarded for their exemplary performance in academics and extracurricular activities.
These initiatives underscore ABVP's commitment to nurturing holistic development among students and fostering a sense of civic responsibility, added the statement.
