Tengnoupal Village Authority lauds HS Benjamin Mate

Imphal, June 09 2021: The Tengnoupal Village Authority, in a statement extended their heartfelt gratitude to former MP candidate (Outer) and spokesperson BJP Manipur, HS Benjamin Mate for his generous contributions towards the village.

The Tengnoupal Village Authority also lauded S Tongpao Mate, ex-vice chairmen ADC CDL, members of Covid Task Force, medical teams, CSOs and all the individuals who have extended their help in all forms during this crisis.

It may be mentioned that in the past few weeks, the village has been grappling with fear as 24 persons were found COVID-19 positive while conducting mass testing, consequently 6 persons had been sent to Covid Care Centre Moreh and the rest were in CIC/Home Isolation.

The Covid Task Force Tengnoupal under proper guidance and led by the village chief, H John Thangkholen Mate and village secretary, Francis L Haokip had taken strict preventive measures including proper implementation of SOPs, contact tracing to control the spread of the virus.

The Tengnoupal Village Authority further announced that with the combined initiative and efforts of all the people, the village is now a Covid free village/Zone.
