DC Bishnupur launches online tourist pass issuance and monitoring system

Bishnupur, May 08 2025: Deputy Commissioner Bishnupur Shri Lourembam Bikram, IAS launched the online Tourist Pass Issuance and Monitoring System today at the Conference Hall, Mini Secretariat Complex, Bishnupur.

The launching program was organized by National Informatics Centre, Bishnupur.

District Informatics Officer, NIC Rajkumari Romita briefing the media said that Tourist Pass Issuance and Monitoring System will provide a hassle-free experience for tourists while booking tickets.

The application aims to simplify the ticketing process by providing a convenient, user-friendly, and efficient system for tourists.

She stated that through this web application, tourists will be able to book their tickets either online or at the site.

Such tickets will be verified through a QR code scanner integrated into the system, ensuring authenticity and preventing misuse.

The system is developed by NIC Manipur.

The application is currently hosted at the NIC Manipur Data Centre and is accessible at https://touristpass.mn.gov.in/, she added.

She also maintained that the administrator will be able to generate reports showing the number of tickets issued.

This feature will help monitor tourist footfall, ensuring transparent accounting, and support data-driven decision-making.

She appealed to all the officials present to kindly use the web application and provide feedback for improvement of the application.

The program was attended by ADM Bishnupur Toijam Opendro, ASIO NIC Districts Tarakishori Rajkumari, DLOs and officials concerned.
