Imphal, June 06 2022: No new Covid-19 positive case was detected in the State during the last 24 hours and there is neither any report of Covid related death nor recovery or discharge of positive persons.

Nonetheless, the pandemic had already claimed 2120 lives in the State.

The cumulative number of positive cases in the State stands at 1,37,241 (general population 1,32,227 and Central security personnel 5,014) .

This figure includes five active cases, all civilians and 1,35,116 recovered cases (general population 1,30,109 and Central security personnel 5,007) .

The recovery rate is 98.45 per cent.

The cumulative number of Covid vaccine doses administered in the State has reached 29,05,684 (first dose 15,71,959, second dose 12,35,066 and precautionary dose 98,659) .

Till Sunday, 61.89 per cent of the State's total eligible population has received the first dose of Covid vaccine while 52.36 per cent has been given both the first and second dose.
