Imphal, April 20 2010: The third foundation day of the Kanglei Economic Development Organisation (KEDO), aimed at building working habit to live with own resource founded on this day in 2007 was celebrated today with a function at Standard Robarth Secondary School, Canchipur.

Chairperson of the Imphal Municipal Council (IMC), Meinam Ranisana who graced the function as chief guest praised the efforts of the volunteers of KEDO expressing that they are trying to build up a work force in the state where dignity of labour seems to be lost.

There is nothing to feel shame while working any available work.

In Mizoram state, local people coming to work in public place are encouraged by their own people and extended their co-operation, she said expressing her willingness to extend the work of KEDo volunteers in other marketing places of the state.

General secretary of Nupi Keithel Semgat Sagat Lup, P Ibenu who presided over the function said that when the youths come out in the market place as part of building up work culture, mothers revived their courage on thinking that the state has hard work culture future pillars.

She also stressed the need for encouraging the volunteers of KEDO by everybody.

Ph Landhoni who presided over the function observed the need for leaving the habit of waiting for white color jobs and cultures the habit of doing every available work.

Proprietor of Apunba Fitness Centre Y Hamlet also attended the function.

Opening of a saloon at the school and cultural programme of the maiba-maibis at the opening function marked the occasion.
