Silk Board inspects tailoring centre scheme at Senapati

Senapati, February 19 2025: Physical Verification Executive, Dr Kaiho Kaisa, Scientist, Central Silk Board, Ministry of Textile, Govt of India assisted by Kangba B, Faculty Member, SIRD, Govt of India today inspected the tailoring centre, scheme for capacity building in association with the Indian institute of entrepreneurship (IIE), which is undertaken by Women Initiative for Social Transformation (WIST) at Monday market, Tahamzam (Senapati) .

The initiative is stated to be taken up in collaboration with Naga Women's Union.

It is also stated that the training programme for the enrolled students will be started within a short period of time.

The Women Initiative for Social Transformation (WIST) is committed to producing skilled manpower for economic and social development, mentioned the Women Initiative for Social Transformation source.
