Bishnupur, January 14 2023: United Committee Manipur president Joychandra Konthoujam inaugurated the Ayangleima Masaikon Resort located opposite Maibam Lotpa Ching in Nambol yesterday.

Speaking on the occasion, Joychandra Konthoujam highlighted the importance of establishing resorts, recreational centres, children parks, tourist spots, etc for people and students alike to relax and rejuvenate their minds.

He also underscored the necessity to safeguard the historic sites of the State in the face of rampant developmental undertakings.

In regard to Ayangleima Masaikon Resort, he shared that it is located at a convenient distance not too far from Imphal.

He added that the resoirt provides amenities such as playground for kids, meeting hall, seminar hall and much more.

He also addressed the jam-packed schedule of students who attend school and tuitions the whole day and zeroed in on the need for children to have play time and visit fun and historical places.

Nick Khoisnam, team representative, Ayangleima Masaikon Resort said that the resort was established to cater to tourists who want to visit historic sites such as India Peace Memorial and other sites in Moirang etc.

The inaugural event was also attended by Th Victoria, proprietor, Ayangleima Masaikon Resort; Thongam Phulchand Singh, president, Thongam Angouba Singha Trust Taobungkhok and Nick Khoishnam, team representative of Ayangleima Masaikon Resort.
