Joykisan takes note of JCI works

The Junior Chamber International, Imphal Iconics observed its third installation ceremony at Hotel Yaiphaba, today.
At the observance, Thangmeiband Constituency MLA Kh Joykisan said that the many initiatives taken up by JCI for the wellbeing of the people is noteworthy.
Saying that the chamber has been fulfilling their duties toward the Nation by taking up several humanitarian services, Joykisan thanked the JCI, Imphal Iconics for inviting him in every installation ceremony of them.
The MLA said that he feels lucky to be able to work with JCI despite not being a member of it.
Continuing that the State Government is not able to make Imphal city clean despite putting much effort till date, Joykisan appealed to JCI to launch a Clean Imphal, Green Imphal campaign.
He also said that he will extend all possible assistance in the campaign.
JCI, North East Zone president Vijaykumar Agarwal and JCI, Imphal Iconics charter presidents Tanisha Jain, Nidhi Jain and newly elected president Lata Jain also attended the programme as presidium members.
During the observance, an oath taking ceremony of the newly elected president and members were also held.
Ahead of the function, JCI, Imphal Iconics installed a RO water purification machine at Imphal Keithel no 2 (Emoinu Keithel) for the women vendors and some waste bins in the surrounding areas.
It is said that the JCI, Imphal will install similar water purification machines at Imphal Keithel no 1 and 3 .
