Tayama Charitable Trust celebrates 13th foundation day

Kakching, July 08 2024: The 13th foundation day celebration of Tayama Charitable Trust, Kakching and Charity Presentation programme was held today at the auditorium of Representative of Lois, Kakching Chumnang Leikai.

The event was graced by Superintendent of Police (SP) Kakching, Thokchom Vikramjit as the chief guest; Tayama Charitable Trust president Mayanglambam Yaima as the president; Advisor Naorem Chandramani and social worker Y Satya as the guests of honour.

In a bid to encourage the meritorious displaced students staying at various relief camps in Kakching district, the Trust felicitated and presented cash awards to the meritorious students who have passed the High School Leaving Certificate Examination (HSLCE), 2024 and Higher Secondary Examination (HSE), 2024 conducted by Board of Secondary Education Manipur (BOSEM) and Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur (COHSEM) respectively with high marks.

Apart from the above, the Trust also honoured the elderly people of Kakching Ward no 12 by presenting gifts and monetary aid.
