Aid to AMWJU

Imphal, June 04 2021: Imphal West SP K Meghachandra and the All Manipur Petroleum Product Business Forum (AMPPBF) donated Rs 10,000 each to the All Manipur Working Journalists' Union COVID-19 Relief Fund, today.

AMPPBF, apart from the cash assistance, also presented 3 layer surgical face masks (1000 pcs), 100 ml hand sanitiser (200 pcs) and disposable rubber hand gloves (100 pcs) to AMWJU.

The aid was handed over to the acting president of AMWJU, Soubam Bokuljaoba Meetei by AMPPBF's officials.

AMPPBF is a conglomerate of eight POL, LPG transporters and business associations.

At the function, All Manipur IOC Retail Outlet Dealers' Association (AMIRDA) president S Menan said that the forum has also donated PPE kit (300 pcs each); 3 layer surgical face mask (7000 pcs each ); disposable rubber hand glove (5700 pcs each); 5 litres hand sanitiser (15 each); drinking water (40 cartons each) to RIMS and JNIMS.

The forum also reached out to RD Wing Lamphelpat with 3 layer surgical face mask (1,000 pcs); disposable rubber hand glove (9,000 pcs) and 5 litres hand sanitiser (2 pcs), Menan added.

Deputy Secretary of Social Welfare, Bantee @ Nongshaba Konthoujam, had on June 2 last, donated Rs 10,000 to AMWJU COVID-19 Relief Fund.
