Senapati, April 16 2015 :
Kuki Students' Organization, (KSO) Sadar Hills today slammed the State Government for failing to nab the assailants who had attacked and subsequently destroyed 10 houses of Lalhoiphai village on April 11, our correspondent reports.
Thangminlen Kipgen, president, KSO, Sadar Hills said that in spite of its repeated appeal to the State Government to nab the 'masked' men who had unlawfully attacked Lalhoiphai village, the O Ibobi Singh led SPF Congress Government remained a mute spectator.
The indifference, he added, has eventually led to another communal movement today at Lalhoiphai.
Large numbers of people, he alleged, suspected to be villagers of Moidangpok village once again overtook Lalhoiphai village and engaged themselves in laying foundation stones for construction of houses today.
Villagers of Lalhoiphai, however, owing to its humble population, remained voiceless onlookers of the undemocratic act, he further alleged.
Questioning the State's indifference towards the issue, KSO, Sadar Hills leader said its last ultimatum to the State Government is to either bring an end to such unconstitutional movement in the village or face all kinds of intense agitation.
