The State's Covid-19 daily positivity rate has declined to 1.1 per cent from yesterday's 1.6 per cent as two were confirmed positive out of 185 samples tested during the last 24 hours.
The fresh positive cases belong to Bishnupur and Kangpokpi, according to a bulletin issued by Additional Director (Health) and Covid-19 Common Control Room spokesman Dr Khoirom Sasheekumar Mangang.
In the meantime, two Covid-19 positive persons have recovered and have been discharged from home isolation.
The cumulative number of Covid-19 positive people in the State now stands at 1,37,212 (general population 1,32,198 and Central security personnel 5,014) .
This figure includes 27 active cases from general population and 1,35,065 recovered cases (general population 1,30,058 and Central security personnel 5,007) .
The death toll remains unchanged at 2120 as there was no report of Covid related death during the last 24 hours while the recovery rate as on Sunday is 98.44 per cent.
A total of 89 D-type oxygen cylinders and three B-type oxygen cylinders were made available to different health facilities of the State yesterday.
At present, 299 (out of 300) Covid beds of JNIMS and all 190 Covid beds of RIMS are vacant.
Taking into account 537 doses jabbed yesterday, the cumulative number of Covid vaccine doses administered in the State has reached 28,27,519 (first dose 15,53,511, second dose 11,97,896 and precautionary dose 76,112) .
Till Saturday, 51.14 per cent of the State's total eligible population has been vaccinated with both the first and second dose of Covid vaccine while 61.65 per cent has received the first dose.
