Imphal, July 23 2021: On the sixth day of the total curfew which came into force from July 18, Manipur logged 1284 new cases and 15 deaths in the last 24 hours.

This is the third time for Manipur to log over 1000 cases on a single day, after the ten days total curfew came into force on July 18 .

On July 20, Manipur had totalled 1127 new cases and on July 21 the total was 1327 .

Today's total of 1284 cases is the second highest logged in a span of 24 hours in the State.

The 1248 new cases were detected out of a total of 6836 samples tested in the last 24 hours to take the daily positivity rate to 18.8 percent.
