Virgo launches the first radio taxi of Manipur

Virgo Car Rentals LLP, a Manipur based start-up, launched the first radio taxi of Manipur with 15 fleets on 5th September, 2015. It aims to offer quality transport system in the state.

The service is now operational for travel within the Imphal city, and plans to commence service to other districts of the state in a few months.

At present, the Taxi can be booked by calling on its toll free number 1800 345 7575, which in a few months time can be booked on its website www.happycabbing.in and also by using its mobile application. With it, the people of the city can now enjoy benefits like calling a cab at home and per kilometer pricing system with in-taxi meter.

The venture is a result of the growing opportunities in airport travel as well as growth in domestic and national tourism. It is also a result of the lack of quality transport services in the city.

The Group envisions making Taxi service an organized sector in the state by making it professional and systematic.

And it has taken a positive step towards its vision of offering quality services by setting up a state-of-the-art call center at Thangal Bazar for smooth operation of the taxi service, and for handling customers booking and queries. As of now, Virgo is a team of 25 professionals, and aims to expand it along with its business.
