Saroi Khangba (propitiation of the evil spirits) at Sagolband on 8th March 2014 :: Pix - Deepak Oinam

Leading which, such misinterpretation of Dharma and Society, Meitei become Hindu, in account of the administrative record, hence Meitei had lost the indigenous identity, because of lack of information since Mohammadans were ruling over the Bharatvarsha for decades. Here again, I am to clarify that HINDU does not concerned to dharma, but concerned to the society of mainland Ariyans.

Whereas, dharma is either Vaisnavaite or followers of Meitei Naat, or follower of Buddhism or Jainism does not matter to the Meitei Society as a Mongoloid origin.

I don't think there will again contradict Vaisnavaite with Hindu which was irrelevant confusion. Also, there should not confuse in between Dharma and Culture. Dharma, the term Dharma has no appropriate meaning in any language of the world, except in Sanskrit. The word religion of English does not fulfill the meaning of Dharma. The word religion gives the meaning of a group or society, behind a faith, which is solely incomplete to interprete Dharma.

The term DHARMA is the result of a ritual service rendered by a person or a group of persons orsociety for the goodwill of the living beings in the world. For that service, when examined into the act of the service, there shall have the qualities adorned as:

Dharma is defined the undermentioned five TATWAS, are referred to the
Manu-smriti-
SAT = TRUTH
SWACH = PURITY
TAPASHYA = AUSTERITY
SRADDHA = FAITH
PREM = LOVE

Absence of the five qualities in the service of Divine there is no dharma. Therefore, to attain Dharma, a person has to company NAAT. NAAT in the sense the culture of regular and irregular or occasional practices in the name of Dhanna (Truth, Purity, Austerity, Faith and Love) is essential. Such practice will.be known as SADHANA, untoward DHARMA.

I went into clarification of the chronicles of confusion in the society, because of the matter of fact the peoples in the society cropped mis-understanding in the name of caste, community, race and dharma, also planted feud unknowingly.

There is no Dharma in the name of a caste or community. Therefore, to remove the confusion in Dharma, Caste and Colour in the highly intellect personalities may surely remove, hence shall bring a happy unity society of the world.

Eastern Provincial Accounts :

The remarkable expeditions of the pioneered British Officers into the. Eastern province of India according to the historical accounts; the Imperial Gazetteer of India, Provincial series, Eastern Bengal and Assam, of Usha Publication 1909, based on 1901 census the community wise populations had been layed as Kachhari-2,40,OOO; Gao- 1,28,000; Rabhas- 6'7,000; Mech-75,000, Mikirs- 87,000; Lalung- 36,000; Lushai- 63,000; Kukis- 56,000; Nagas- 1,62,000; Manipuri- 2,56,000; Khasi-1,78,OOO, Miris- 47,000.

These accounts were grossed and accumulated communities population. For example- Manipuris: the tribes of Meitei, Kabui, Tangkhul, Mao, Maram, Tadubi, Rongmei, Rengmei, Sepaomarampth, Kom, Anal, Komlathabi, Aimol, Thangal, Maring, etc. etc. In like manner, Nagas.,-Angami, Sema, Lotha, Chakashang, Ao, Phom, Mon, etc. Extensively, British Officers expedited 10 pin-point the tribes of Koch, Kachari, Bodes, Datla, Apalani, Manipuri and Ahom are origin of Shan Tribe of Tai, the Mongoloids as Ahom who might have migrated during 1220 AD. Therefore, the people of the East Province are found to have been Tibeto-Burmeese stocks.

With the attempt of the British establishment into the Eastern Province specifically in Manipur was of Mr. Verelst in 1763 approached throught Chittagong tract, through Sylhet and Cachar to Assist Manipur against Burmese aggression. But, his team could reach upto Barak. On the other side from Daka, British tried to push Mohammadans during 17~5. But the Mohammadans were strong and faced the lack of communication to thrush in to and unable to break through the mission (The History of Assam Rifles).

British officers had entered into the East Province from the south of Surma Valley by accommodating Cachar Levy under the command of Mr. Grange, the father of Frontier Police in 1838-39, then Jorhat Militia, then Assam Military Police with the help of Gorkha Regiment during 1824 to 1924. But, Assam Light Infantry (ALI); then in the year 1917, the formation of the Assam Rifles has been approved, as Captain Welsh was the first Commanding Officer of the Battalion.

Thus, Assam Rifles, modeled by the Gorkha Regiment became extremely successful in various operations into the region, in the taught terrain. However, the relentless efforts of the East India Company could through Railways lines into the region in the year 1893 from Chittagong to Dibrugarh; from Lamding to Gauhati.

Exactly in 1910 Bengal Railway extends uptoAmingaon on Brahmaputra. Moreover, British had the plan to produce tea by planting tea, first on the bank of Kundli river during 1932·33 by Mr. Bruce and in 1855 in Cachar, Silchar. By then iron.coal, valuable trees in the jungle of Assam had already traced and ready to export, but awaited communicable means, which was also fulfilled in the year 1910 and thereafter. Thus, the tribal societies in the province have been steadily and stealthily established communication with the peoples of the west and south.

By the time, the British had forgotten that, Bharatvarsha is not their own kingdom, rather British thought that Bharat will never dream freedom from the British Empire. At the same time when Bharatavarsha consist of numerous small kingdoms realized the intention of the British Empire, the heros ofthe nation woke-up and stance to fight the Cruel Empire.

The East Province also joined the Freedom Movement of Bharatavarsha. The freedom had given but Bharat could not immediately remove the slaveryness from the minds of the people. When the Freedom Fighters decayed the administrative elements had been infected by corruption.

Thus, East Province remains silent without sensitizing the nerve centres. Therefore, need of the hour had many times knocked the people of the East, but the dose of the Slave toxic takes time to subside into normal.

Therefore, the Institutions of IIT, IIM, NIT, NIIT or UPSC or State Public Service Institutions are found not sufficient to improve the morality of the administrative heads, but the establishment of the collegiums of the Judiciary system should be improved to wash the muddled Consciences of the leaders of the nation. Perhaps, such clean, efficient, deserving leaders of the Nation are rising on the surface for which we have been waiting the shine, being stay away citizen with austerity and TAPASYA.

As witnesses of the historians of the nation it was found that the period of Mohammadans are horrible and destructive for the human civllisation; which of the example is Silchar, the worsely effected zone in the East Province, due to Mohammadans occupation. The lost so far reveal in the society cannot be recovered for long generation.

To be continued...
