Things are moving along nicely with the Bamboo Emporium. We now have over 30 partners and we have added some new sections to the site.

Bamboo Construction & Construction Materials, Bamboo Machinery, and Bamboo Nurseries. In the coming months each of these new categories will start filling up. Our goal is to have 75 partners by Dec 31 2016.

We just recently attended the Global Bamboo Summit in Indore, India.

We were invited by the organizers, more specifically Kamesh Salam, (the founder of World Bamboo Day), to give a presentation about Dragonfly Bamboo and the Bamboo Emporium. We met many new companies, with some really great products. In total, we found 12 new partners in India and we will be adding them over the next few months.

As you may know, we have partnered with the World Bamboo Organization, as their official selling platform and have several of their ambassador’s products on the site and a few others who are in the process of joining. This partnership will help the World Bamboo Organization raise funds. We are giving them 10% of all sales on the Bamboo Emporium.

We have also partnered with South Asia Bamboo Foundation & Kamesh Salam, to assist in providing a platform for India’s huge bamboo industry. Our partnership includes building a strong logistics system, within India, to minimize transportation costs and help simplify interstate transportation networks.

We have recently began working with three companies in Indonesia and will be adding products from there as well.

Dragonfly Bamboo is also introducing a new bamboo product, the Bamboo Sulky. It was Engineered by, Viet Bamboo Bikes and will be distributed by Chalo Sulky in GA.

We are very thankful for all the support, financially and for all the compliments and wishes of good luck from everybody. It is really nice to hear the excitement in their emails; about how cool the website is or what a great idea it is. Even the people at SquareSpace have commented about the project. We would also like to thank all of you who have joined the Emporium. I am looking forward to working with all of you, as we forge ahead promoting Bamboo around the world!
