Poumai Naga Union dismayed over ‘inaction’ on Thaisii attack
Nagaland Post | Dec 14, 2011
Poumai Naga Union (PNU) has expressed disappointment over the “indifferent attitude and inaction” of Manipur government to the recent attempt on the life of Sports minister D.D. Thaisii near Maram on November 12.
A press release signed by PNU Publicity and infomation secretary, Kh. Sapunii said the state government was yet to book the culprit and so far no organization has claimed responsibility for the attack.
It warned that if the government failed to clear its stand on the attack immediately, it would be held responsible for any “related violence” in future.
