Post Mortem
Okendro Khundongbam *
Ye rogues!
Never touch the tender skin
That ever remains unbeaten,
No no, let me take him with me
He is a guiltless child of mine
Give him back to me, his mother.
In slices of dying
He had been bludgeoned,
Shall the eyes feast it today too!
Shall the soulless corpse
Be toyed as a plaything
By cutting time and again
And repeating it still more!
This post mortem null and void
Is grinning by gazing at the society.
