Manipur Students' Association Delhi extends condolence

The Manipur Students' Association Delhi extends heart felt condolence on the sudden and untimely demise of Professor Naorem Sanajaoba on 13th December of 2009 and shares the bereft of the Manipur student community and of the family.
Professor made several contributions form diversified angles to the Manipur Society and we have owed our undying honor to him. He had played a leading role in our early student movements and gave an inspirational consciousness to the student mass the sense of collective responsibility.
He had contributed various important archival anthologies of historical documents of Manipur Society which will be of great value in our future. In fact, the academician had donated our primary historical references in order for the generations to come.
Moreover, he had propounded procedural and developmental comments and propositions regarding various socio-political issues, legal consciousness and other issues of human rights and had urged strongly a significant positive and practical approach of conflict resolutions notably to the context of Manipur and other neighbouring regions of Northeast India and also of many other conflict prevalent societies. Professor had really pushed a scope of analysis form the pretext of Humanitarian Jurisprudence to the issues and had sighted sensible agendas.
Also, he had strived for the national unity and integrity for the Manipur Society.
We honour and place our heartiest tribute to the departed soul and pray for its eternal peace to the almighty.
