13th Edition of Sunsilk Mega Miss North East Ready to Enthrall All
Imphal Auditions for the pageant to be held on 8th February

Mega Entertainment, north east’s largest fashion and pageant event organizer, announced the audition dates for the 13th Edition of Sunsilk Mega Miss North East today. Through these auditions, the pageant organizers will select 32 delegates from the eight northeastern states, who will vie for the coveted title of Sunsilk Mega Miss North East, supported by Fashion Partner Reliance Trends, Styling Partner Lakme Perfect Radiance and Telecom Partner Vodafone.

So far, auditions for the pageant have happened in Shillong and Silchar. After this, the Sunsilk Mega Miss North East team will conduct auditions in Imphal on 8th February, Dibrugarh on 10th February and in Guwahati on 13thFebruary respectively.

Sunsilk Mega Miss North East is inspired by Designer/ Fashion Choreographer the powerhouse of fashion & pageant industry Abhijit Singha, will feature the most beautiful young women of the regionfrom the eight north eastern states- Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim & Tripura, who will travel to the host cityfor the Grand Finale. During the strong competition the contestants will be judged in three categories: traditional wear, evening gown presentation and personality interview. Juhi Gogoi from Assam, former Sunsilk Mega Miss North East, will crown the winner at the conclusion of the pageant.

Abhijeet Singha, Founder Proprietor- Mega Entertainment says, “Sunsilk Mega Miss North East does not culminate with mere crowning of our winners. We also make it our mission to give them an international platform from where their dreams can take flight. Our winners get the opportunity to walk the Lakmé Fashion Week ramp for Reliance Trends, which in itself is a dream-come-true for various well established models also.”

“In the past thirteen years, we have seen winners from only Assam, Sikkim and Meghalaya. This year, we are expecting a winner to emerge from the one of the other five north eastern states. Let us see how the other states respond to our hopes”, he adds.

The Sunsilk Mega Miss North East 2015 prize package includes: custom American diamond tiara, cash prize, gifts from pageant sponsors, travel opportunities, professional representation by Mega Entertainment, and opportunity to walk the biggest fashion event of the country Lakmé Fashion Week for Reliance Trends in Mumbai. The winners will also be offered a professional grooming session, which would guide them further on how to carry themselves forward in the professional sphere. Besides, the winners also get the opportunity to walk the ramp in various national and international shows.
