We are currently looking for the following positions for our Imphal Design Center: :

1. Sr. Developer in Java J2Ee

Job Description:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
o Analyze requirements and develop technical design for applications.
o Responsible for coding, unit testing and documenting solutions
o Responsible for design and implement RESTful web services for a business requirement to support multiple clients
o Participates in all phases of Software Development Life Cycle to implement complex applications/technology solutions.
o Applies Agile practices for successful, sustainable delivery of software solutions.
o Effectively functions and communicates within a software development team consisting of designers, developers, quality assurance, product management and project management members.
o Ensures that code adheres to strict standards for accessibility, security, object-oriented practices and performance.
o Actively participates in requirements, architecture, and design meetings.
o Experience with Continuous Integration/ Continuous Deployment and Source Control Management.

Skills and Qualifications:
o Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or another related field.
o At least 2+ years of development experience in Java and J2EE technologies
o Strong knowledge of Java and J2EE technologies (JMS, EJB, Servlets)
o Strong knowledge of Web Service standards (SOA, ReST, SOAP, WSDL, JSON) & XML standards (XML, XML Schema, XLST, XPath etc)
o Experience in implementing solutions using in industry standard open source frameworks, such as Spring framework, Hibernate, Logging Frameworks, Object caching, JUnit, integration patterns.
o Experience in developing solutions using Open Source software tools like Eclipse, Maven, Jenkins, SVN and GitHub
o Experience implementing schema and queries in an RDBMS
o Experience in SQL/Oracle query troubleshooting/performance tuning
o Experience in managing and coordinating offshore and onsite teams
o Experience in Agile methodologies a plus
o Good knowledge of industry standards/best practices surrounding all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
o Experience using Agile practices such as TDD, XP, continuous integration, unit testing to deliver solutions
o Experience with performance testing/tuning is a huge plus
o Experience in Version One Software a plus
o Knowledge of Angular JS is plus
o Good oral and written communication skills
o Experience in 'Media and Entertainment' industry desirable

2. Sr. Developer in Android

Job Description:
Android Developer who possesses a passion for pushing mobile technologies to the limits and will work with our team of talented engineers to design and build the next generation of our mobile applications.

Responsibilities:
o Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
o Work with outside data sources and API's.
o Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
o Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
o Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Requirements:
o BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.
o Proven software development experience.
o Proven working experience in Android development.
o Have published at least one original Android app.
o Experience with Android SDK.
o Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON.
o Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
o Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
o Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.

3. Sr. UI - Designer

Job Description:
Talented UI Designer to create amazing user experiences. The ideal candidate should have an eye for clean and artful design, possess superior UI skills and be able to translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and artifacts, and transform them into beautiful, intuitive, and functional user interfaces.

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience.
Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks. Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders. Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback.
Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards.

Requirements:
o Proven UI experience
o Demonstrable UI design skills with a strong portfolio.
o Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps
o Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, OmniGraffle, or other visual design and wire-framing tools o Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping.
o Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction .
o Ability to present your designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders.
o Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively o Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies.
o BS/MS in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, or related o Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
