Kakching 3rd Divn League : RFC beat SDO 3-2, LMLCC hold KYWAC to 3-3 draw

Royal Football Club (RFC), Wabagai Hiyanglam overcame an early blunder to post a 3-2 comeback win against SDO, Pallel while LMLCC, Langmeidong scored in the stoppage time to salvage a 3-3 draw with KYWAC, Wabagai in today's matches of the 3rd Division Football League Tournament being organised by DSA Kakching at its playground.
In the 5th match of the tournament, RFC which played out a goalless draw with KYWAC in their previous fixture, conceded an own goal in the 4th minute when its defender Borish mistakenly put the ball into his own net.
RFC's Hemochandra however made up the mistake by equalising the score during the additional time of the first half.
Rupadash then helped RFC take the lead with a fine goal in the 68th minute of the match before Bidyachandra extended the lead to 3-1 two minutes latter.
SDO which were kept on their toes for a better portion of the game toiled hard made their way back into the game with a goal through Krishnanda in the 78th minute but the team failed to close in the gap despite late chances.
Eventually RFC earned their first win at the tournament.
Meanwhile in the second match of the day, LMLCC and KYWAC were on the same pace throughout and shared almost equal possession and number of attempts.
Abhinash of LMLCC drew first blood in the 20th minute of the match but KYWAC drew level in the 37th minute through Sushil and made it 1-1 till the break.
Shyamson helped LMLCC regain the lead in the 61st minute but Bidyasagar of KYWAC came up with the equaliser again before his team mate Rishikanta overturned the lead with a brilliant stroke in the 75th minute.
The game almost ended in favour of KYWAC but Shyamsunder of LMLCC scored during the additional time of the stoppage time (80+3') to help settle the game in a 3-3 draw.
FC Kakching Khunou will meet KYWAC in the next match of the tournament on September 29 at 7 am before RFC face LMLCC latter at 8.30 am the same day.
