Thoubal, January 09 2018: OMA FC, Heirok defeated Kingfisher FC, Khangabok 3-2 in the final of the 1st Salai Trophy U-13 Boys 7-a-side Football Tournament 2017-18 staged at TDC ground, Khangabok.

The valedictory function of the tournament was attended by Th Jadumani, former vice president, BJP Manipur Pradesh, Kh Rajmohan, Member, Khangabok ZP as chief guest and president who also gave away prizes to the winners.

N Mala Devi, Pradhan, Khangabok Part-I GP, Md Zakir Khan, Pradhan, Sangaiyumfam Part-I GP and H Manichandra Singh, Pradhan, Wangbal GP also attended the function as special guests.

The winners team, OMA FC were honoured with Rs 7,000 along with certificate and winner trophy and a consolation prize of Rs 4,000 was handed to the runners up team along with certificate.

Sanathoi and Alon of OMA FC bagged the best player and top scorer awards respectively while Lokendro and E Shakhenba claimed the best goalkeeper and best defender titles.
