Uchiwa junior volleyball UWPWC beat NEYVA in final

Imphal, April 29 2015 : UWPWC, Uchiwa lifted the 2nd Inter-Village Open Volleyball Tournament, 2015 organised by Uchiwa Wangma Popular Welfare Club under the auspices of All Manipur Volleyball Association at Uchiwa Wangma Punshi Keithel volleyball ground.

In today's final, UWPWC, Uchiwa registered a straight set win against NEYVA, Naorem 25-20, 25-23, 25-18 .

Earlier in the semi finals, NEYVA, Naorem edged out IGO, Oinam in a five set thriller 23-25, 25-19, 17-25, 25-21, 15-11 .

In another semi final, UWPWC downed UAL, Uchiwa Awang 25-16, 27-25, 27-20 .

Team champion, UWPWC, Uchiwa were awarded a cash prize of Rs 15,000 while runner up NRYCA, Naorem received a cash prize of Rs 10,000 .

NYVA's O Harimohol and UWPWC's O Tomba clinched the best spiker and and best setter of the final match respectively.

The best player and best setter title of the tournament went to UWPWC's O Joychand and NYVA's N Budhachandra respectively.
