Imphal, September 27 2019: Mantripukhri Battalion of 9 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of IGAR (South) celebrated 'World Tourism Day' with an awareness programme at Government High School, Sagolmang today.

The awareness programme was organised by Sagolmang Company Operating Base with an endeavour to raise awareness regarding tourism in Manipur.

A lecture on 'Manipur - A Tourist Destination' was conducted for the students highlighting the importance as well as vast potential of tourism in the State, said a statement of PRO IGAR (South) .
