Imphal, June 25 2013: Villagers of far off places in Chandel district have not been getting their due share of monthly PDS items regularly and PDS items are not provided to them since 3 or 4 years.

Pointing out this, Naga People's Front, in a statement, appealed the concerned authority to look after the matter.

Meanwhile, it has also appealed the concerned authority to construct sooner the degraded Pallel-Chandel and Chandel-Chakpikarong roads which has been taken over by BRTF since 2 years and left unattended.

The honorarium and pay for the Anganwadi workers of the State and DIET staff which has been deprived since a year should be given sooner, the statement appealed and urged to complete the construction of sports complex at Chandel Christian Village soon.
