Teachers honoured on World Teachers' Day

Imphal, October 05 2015: The 26 Sector Assam Rifles of Pallel observed the World Teachers' Day on Monday at its Headquarter.

Chandel Deputy Commissioner (DC) Robert Kshetrimayum and Brigadier of 26 Sector AR Rajiv Chhiver attended the function as chief guest and president respectively.

175 selected teachers of Chandel district were honoured with simple gifts on the occasion.

DC Robert praised the roles play by teachers in a society and their sacrifices.

Brigadier Rajiv Chhiver said that the day is observed recognizing the sacrifices made by the teachers in a society.
