Jiri-Tupul railway construction works halted

Imphal, September 11 2015 : The construction works for Jiri-Tupul railway line were forced to halt during the 15-day bandh imposed by United Naga Council (UNC) .

The UNC had imposed a 15-day bandh on International and National Projects including Asian Railway Line construction; Power Grid in all Naga areas with effect from September 10 morning in protest against the passing of three Bills by the Manipur Legislative Assembly on August 31 .
