Imphal, April 10 2023: The team of 'Asengba Eral' film were felicitated today at the cultural hall of the Integrated Rural Development and Educational Organization (IRDEO), Wangbal in Thoubal district.

The felicitation programme was organised by IRDEO in association with a senior citizen home managed by IRDEO.

The programme was graced by Dorendro Kshetrimayum, Consultant Asengba Eral; Kh Tomba, superintendent of Senior Citizen Home and IRDEO coordinator S Budha Meitei as the presidium members.

The film is based on the issues of aged people who are abandoned by their own children whom they have raised with utmost love and care.

It may be noted that Director of the film, OC Meira won the Special Jury Mention Award at the recently held NIRI 9-2nd International Film Festival at Sangeet Kala Mandir, Kolkata.
