NSCN (K) refutes reports on arrest of cadres

Imphal, August 21 2015 : Narional Socialist Council of Nagaland or the NSCN (K) has refuted all news reports published in various dailies in connection with the arrest of several alleged NSCN (K) cadres involved in June 4, 2015 ambush in Chandel district Manipur.

In a press note, NSCN (K) PRO 'Col.' Isak Sumi termed the reports as "completely baseless" since none of the arrested persons belonged to NSCN (K) Naga Army.

"The distortion of facts in itself is evident that the Indian Security Forces are hell-bent to demoralise the Naga struggle for sovereignty through various mode of propaganda, rumours and psychological warfare whereas the NSCN/GPRN shall not be deterred from pursuing its goal," said the press note.
