Imphal, May 14 2022: Blessing ceremony of Home Films Manipur's new feature film 'Eikhoigee Imphal' was held at Iboyaima Shumang Leela Shanglen, Palace Compound, here on Saturday.

DM University vice-chancellor professor N Rajmuhon and relief & disaster management joint secretary A Shivdas attended the event as chief guest and president respectively while special contractor Chirom Iboyaima and Sangeet Natak Akademi award winning artiste Sougrakpam Hemanta were presented as guests of honour.

Cast members of the film are Gokul, Ethoi Oinam, Eedhou, Sunil Myboy, Joybidya, Hemanta and Sangeeta.

Chirom ongbi Roma is producing the film, which will be directed by Soibam Homeshwari on the story and screenplay of Ranjit Ningthouja.

BB Surjit, Saterjit Thiyam and Jitenkumar Naorem are the cinematographer, choreographer and music director respectively.

Meanwhile, the premiere show of Nongyin Films Production's new feature film 'Haidrasu Khangle' was held at the multipurpose hall of Manipur State Film Development Society (MSFDS), Palace Compound on Saturday.

Social welfare minister Heikham Dingo and social worker RK Nongdrenkhomba attended the event as chief guest and president respectively while Wabagai MLA Usham Deben and Lilong Haoreibi College principal Dr Raheijuddin Sheikh were present as guests of honour.

Silheiba, Suraj Ngaseppam, Biju, Eedhou and Khekman Ratan are the main casts of the film.
