Imphal, February 18 2025: Assam Rifles distributed educational aids and sports accessories at KSO Community Education Centre to over 80 students of K Molnom village, Chandel district on Monday.

In a release, PRO IGAR (S) informed that the event emphasised the importance of education and physical well-being for the holistic development of children.

During the event, students received notebooks, textbooks, stationery and other essential learning materials.

Additionally, sports equipment such as football and volleyball were distributed to encourage physical activity and sportsmanship among young learners, it added.

Meanwhile, AR dedicated a 10 KL water storage tank along with pipeline at Chattrik Khullen village, Kamjong district on Monday.

The project executed under Operation Sadbhavna will help the villagers have access to fresh, potable water with ease.

The project was inaugurated by the village officials in the presence of over 150 villagers and local officials, said the PRO .
