Thoubal, September 27 2019: Wangjing Tentha Kendra Old Age Pension Scheme will be distributed to the beneficiaries of the scheme at Wanjing Laikol community hall on September 30 at 1.30 pm, informed a press release issued by Secy, P Birahari Charitable Foundation (PBCF).

It asked all the card holders of the scheme to present in the distribution function on time.

The pension scheme was sponsored and initiated by Paonam Brojen Singh, MLA Wangjing Tentha AC since 2014 for the senior citizens of the Constituency who are above 68 years of age under P Birahari Charitable Foundation, Wangjing and it presenlty covers around 1000 senior citizens.

An amount of Rs 1,200 is given to the card holders every six months under the scheme.
