All are entitled to Constitutional rights: Ningreingam

While reminding that the people are entitled to all the rights enshrined in the Constitution of India, intending candidate from Phungyar AC Ningreingam Kashung said that he decided to contest the upcoming 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly election to ensure the people of Phungyar have full access to their constitutional rights and the various opportunities provided by the central government.
Ningreingam, who is also the vice president of BJP Manipur Pradesh Kisan Morcha, made the statement during a blessing programme organised in his honour in Chadong village, Kamjong district on Saturday.
In his speech as the chief guest, Ningreingam asserted that as there is clarity in BJP's ideology, he decided to contest the polls on BJP's ticket.
He then expressed confidence of getting the party's ticket, adding that he had been working for the welfare of people in Phungyar AC right from his student days.
The vice president assured of bringing a huge change in the livelihoods of people in the constituency and help in formulating policy programmes for the welfare of all in every aspect.
However, in case he did not get the party ticket, a decision would be taken after consulting with the people, Ningreingam said.
The programme was also attended by members of BJP Ukhrul district, Phungyar Mandal, Ukhrul Mandal, Chingai Mandal, Kisan Morcha BJP Ukhrul district, Mahila Morcha and BJYM.
Various cultural performances were also performed on the occasion.
