Imphal, September 11 2015 :
International Meetei Forum (IMF) president retired Colonel RK Rajendra has met Indo-Naga peace talks interlocutor RN Ravi and talked on the peace accord signed between the Government of India and NSCN (IM) on August 3 last.
After the meeting RK Rajendra said that the countless demands of various communities in the small state have continuously threatened the territorial boundary of Manipur.
The erstwhile independent kingdom of Manipur with more than a two thousand year-old history has a record of entry of Hindus into the land since the period of king Garibaniwaz making it a diverse society.
Recalling that Tangkhuls, Kabuis and Meeteis were once brothers inhabited only in the hills of Manipur, RK Rajendra stated nobody has claimed Kukis as foreigners in this land.
The IMF president alleged that the Naga Peace Accord was made to break up Manipur.
Regarding this, RN Ravi was told that Manipur might seek the help of other countries if Government of India continues to threaten the territorial boundary and integrity of the state, said RK Rajendra while adding that he had submitted a document to RN Ravi detailing the history of Manipur and its traditional boundary map.
