PSO demands release of salaries

Imphal, June 01 2015 :
Pangal student Organisation appeals to the government to release two years salary for Madrasa teachers.
PSO in a press release had informed that there are 30 Madrasa and each Madrasa has 5 teachers.
The student body also alleged that the State government had failed to fulfil the Madrasa modernisation as no fund is being allotted till today for Madrasa maintenance.
PSO also informed that a special team was formed to investigate the WAQF board and found out many loopholes.
The student body also informed that WAQF board is an autonomous body that works on many minority welfare projects including widow pension, Masjid, Edgah, graveyard, post matric Scholarship, pre matric scholarship for girl students, Madrasa modernisation, etc.
Alleging the non functioning of WAQK board by not electing its chairperson and not assigning works to the elected members even after 7 months the student organisation had charged the State government with looking down the minority.
