Jwalamukhi Battalion organises med camp at tribal food mela

Imphal, September 16 2018: Jwalamukhi Battalion under the aegis of Senapati Brigade of Red Shield Division organised a medical camp during one day Tribal Food Mela at Brig Thomas Ground of Kangpokpi districtyesterday.

Sadar Hills ADC and District Administration Kangpokpi district organised the one day Tribal Food Mela at Brig Thomas Ground of Kangpokpi district.

A medical team of Jwalamukhi Battalion led by Regimental Medical Officer, conducted a free medical camp during the Mela.

A total of 96 patients were examined and subsequently initiated on the appropriate treatment regime.

The medical team also educated them on health, hygiene and sanitation related issues and common health hazards.

A lecture on adolescent diseases and means to fight them was also delivered by the Medical Officer, said a statement of PIB (Defence Wing) .
