TSA-J&T condemns

The Thadou Students' Association, Jiribam and Tamenglong branch (TSA-J&T) has condemned in the strongest term, the inhumane acts toward a pregnant woman who, after running from one hospital to another, died after being denied treatment by these hospitals.
The pregnant woman named, (L) Kanpatliu Kamei (20) w/o Roshan Balang of Oktan (Puichi) village, Tamenglong district approached Senapati District Hospital who then referred her to JNIMS due to alleged medical facility shortage.
She was denied treatment/admission in JNIMS after which she was taken to RIMS, where she met the same fate.
She was then taken to two other private hospitals who also denied her treatment.
The Thadou Students' Association, Jiribam and Tamenglong branch (TSA J&T) was shocked to learn about the medical negligence met to the women and the unborn child.
The TSA-J&T is against such immoral and cruel acts and urged the State Government to take appropriate action over the incident.
Further, it requested the general public and medical staffs to not to let this pandemic kill humanity and compassion.
