Kuki Inpi Ccpur condemns attack on 46 AR

Kuki Inpi Churachandpur has strongly condemned the attack on a convoy of 46 AR by underground groups on November 13 that claimed the lives of commanding officer of the battalion, his wife and son and four other QRT personnel.
In a statement issued by its information and publicity department, Kuki Inpi Churachandpur denounced in the strongest terms the inhuman and barbaric acts of terror perpetrated upon 46 Assam Rifles near S Sehken village, Singngat sub-division, Churachandpur on November 13."The heinous act of terrorism is even more shocking given the fact that the blood thirsty perpetrators didn't even spare a woman and a child," it said.
"Some militant groups operating in the state have always been crying themselves hoarse over protocols of the Geneva Convention.
It is high time they realise that the rules of the convention apply both ways," it added.
It also pointed out that Kuki Inpi Churachandpur had sent a strong warning to all concerned that such heinous crime of this nature should not be committed in any areas of Churachandpur district as such abhorrent cowardly act of terrorism can adversely affect inter-communities relationship which can further jeopardise the peace and security of the land.
"It is the strong opinion of Kuki Inpi Churachandpur that all forms and manifestation of terrorism represent a serious threat to the peace and security of the citizens.
The concerned authorities should make every effort to identify those responsible for the abominable acts of terrorism," it said.
Kuki Inpi Churachandpur also shared the pain and grief of the bereaved families, offered prayers for the speedy recovery of the injured and extended solidarity to Assam Rifles and Indian Armed Forces.
It is the immediate demand of Kuki Inpi Churachandpur that the state and the Central governments should take up the case on a priority basis so as to ensure the trigger happy terrorists responsible for the gruesome crime are brought to book and justice is served at the earliest, it said further.
