Delhi, October 30 2019: The Kukis of Delhi staged a mass rally today to protest against the possible inclusion of Kuki 'ancestral land' in the proposed Naga Autonomous Council in Manipur and Assam, said a statement of Kuki Students Organisation, Delhi.

It is a unanimous resolution of the Kuki people and their various organisations that "Not an inch of Kuki ancestral land should be included in the proposed Naga Autonomous Council," said KSO Delhi.

"We have been repeatedly asking the GoI not to include any Kuki village under Naga administration without our consent." The GoI, which is undergoing talks with the Kuki armed groups, KNO&UPF should bring a political settlement on Kukiland Territorial Council prior to any settlement with the NSCN-IM.

No Kuki village should be included in the proposed Naga Autonomous Council in Manipur and Assam, said KSO.
